This is the first rough draft of an overhead view of the scene. Before I started I looked at a couple of country houses that I know on Google Maps, to see if there are common features in the way that the land around these types of houses are set out. So taking the images below (these are screenshots of the two I searched) into consideration, I've drawn up the first rough layout for my scene.
