In addition to my own project, I have been lending a hand on Thaxnay's project "On the Fence". I have offered to do small jobs to do with both concept drawings and models. My first task for him was to create a couple of scene concepts based on his chosen colour palettes and a description of what features needed to be included in the scene.
I just thought I'd give two styles a go, allowing for more constructive criticism. We both agreed that the first image is much nicer and is more appropriate to the feel of the film. The second one doesn't have as much warmth or life to it.
